This is the countdown I made back in 2005 but since no new songs from the 1970’s have been released for many years now, I thought not to change it!
Methodology for this countdown, since I was not alive through most of this decade, was done more mathematical. I compiled over 20 year end and decade end lists from all over the internet, assigned them point values based on position, and then ranked them based on points.
As always, the first song is 1750 and so on. Spotify has both the whole list and just the Top 500 for those who just want to hear the best!
